Every year, 26,000 babies are stillborn in America. In 2003, one of them was my son.

A Statistic Worth Repeating

Yes, I'm still on a blog break - but came across a video on Joanne Cacciatore's blog this morning, with a statistic worth repeating:

Approximately 120,000 children die in the US every year.

Around 80% of them will die before their first birthday.

This is a horrible statistic but just goes to show how common it is. I have just purchased a copy of your book so I can read it and recommend/buy it for people who sadly contribute to this statistic in the future.

Enjoy your break but I will be here to follow your blog when you get started again.

Thanks for your regular visits to mine - you are an encouragement

Thank you - do let me know your thoughts on it and if you think anything is missing from it.

Wow. That is an amazing statistic. I had absolutely no idea--especially the 80% part. I hope your break relaxes and refreshes you.
